Robert Plant wouldn't admit to anything but at a recent New York Knicks basketball game the legendary singer for Led Zeppelin said, “You don’t know what’s around the corner. It’s so much fun to play with those guys. I miss it so much.”
For many Zeppelin fans Plant's comments were taken as a sign the band may be getting back together for a world tour, something that guitarist Jimmy Page has hinted at since the wildly successful reunion lat last year at London's O2 Arena.
That idea hasn’t appealed to frontman Robert Plant who has said the O2 Arena show would be the only appearance. He recently announced a tour with Alison Krauss that should keep him busy for awhile.
Despite Plant’s already busy schedule there have been several reports that the groundwork has been laid for a world tour beginning late this year, possibly September. Fans will have to keep their fingers crossed but there are signs that Plant may be backing away from his earlier assertions.
