NHL Playoffs Schedule Wednesday May 12: Sidney Crosby and Pittsburgh Penguins Feeling Pressure of Game 7 Showdown with Montreal Canadiens, Flyers and Bruins Meet in Game 6

The NHL playoffs schedule for Wednesday couldn’t be more exciting as the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens settle their series with a Game 7 showdown while the Philadelphia Flyers look for their third straight win and an even series as they host the Boston Bruins in a Game 6 must-win on their home ice.

Sidney Crosby wants another Stanley Cup title but he’s found himself staring at a determined and overachieving Montreal Canadiens side that has done nothing but shock in the NHL playoffs. Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have been stoned by the Canadiens defense and more specifically the sensational play of Jaroslav Halak in goal. The Penguins will need to find a way to crack Halak on Wednesday because they have had inconsistent play in their own net with Marc-Andre Fleury between the pipes.

Montreal certainly won’t be intimidated as they have already won a Game 7 in the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs, stunning the Washington Capitals in the first round.

While one piece of the Eastern Conference Finals puzzle will definitely be known on Wednesday the Philadelphia Flyers will be working to ensure the entire picture isn’t known as they try to fight off elimination for the third straight time against the Boston Bruins. The Bruins jumped to a 3-0 series lead but the Flyer shave won two straight and have some momentum heading into tonight’s game in Philly.
