Manny Pacquiao To Fight in November

Filipino Boxing Champ to Face Unnamed Fighter

Michael Koncz, the chief financial adviser of Filipino boxing phenom Manny Pacquiao, has said that Pacquiao will enter the ring again in November. Two dates have been reserved for the fight, November 6 and 13, at the Cowboys Stadium in Texas. The question on everybody's mind, of course, is whether Pacquiao will be finally facing Floyd Mayweather, Jr. The answer is not certain because Pacquiao's opponent has not been chosen yet. But according to Koncz, "If Mayweather wants to fight Manny, then no problem, provided he doesn't try to bully us into terms and conditions," referring to Mayweather's demands for Olympic-style drug testing. Since the plans for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight fell through in March after Pacquiao refused to submit to Mayweather's demands, neither side has seemed willing to change its stance on the debated issue, so only time will tell if we will finally see the long-awaited fight between these two boxing greats in November.
