LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE:LDK) is down 1.53% to $6.45 on 2.20 million shares after the solar panel maker reported a first-quarter profit of $7.2 million, or 6 cents a share. In the year-earlier period, the solar company posted a net loss of $22.5 million, or 21 cents a share.

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ:JASO) added 3.20% to $6.13 on 6.01 million shares. Earlier this week, the company announced financial results for its first quarter 2010, ended March 31, 2010. Revenue in the first quarter of 2010 was RMB 1.9 billion ($279.2 million), an increase of 17.1 percent from RMB 1.6 billion ($238.4 million) reported in the fourth quarter of 2009.

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) lost 0.45% to $11.04 on 1.70 million shares.

Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE:TSL) increases 1.93% to $21.62 on 1.38 million shares.

Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:YGE) is up 0.96% to $10.50.
