Sheriff Joe Arpaio Warns Tom Brady and Paris Hilton

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, also known as “America’s toughest sheriff,” has warned celebrities visiting for the Super Bowl – he doesn’t tolerate trouble makers. Arpaio specifically names New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, and socialite Paris Hilton.

“(They’ll) be treated the same as anyone. Let the players know that. And Paris better take a limousine. Somebody better tell her that she is in Maricopa County, not Los Angeles County,” he said. Arpaio is referring to Hilton’s DUI arrest and jail stint last year.

“It’s a tough county to be in if you do something wrong. Especially the way I run the law enforcement,” said the Arizona Sheriff.

He adds that he has “a pair of pink underwear, a bologna sandwich and a spot in a dirty old prison tent for Tom Brady, Eli Manning or, most certainly, Paris Hilton.”

Super Bowl 2008, New England Patriots vs. New York Giants, will be played in Phoenix, Arizona February 3, 2008.
