Plane Crash in North Carolina Kills Six

All six passengers on a twin-engine King Air C90A plane were killed Friday after the aircraft crashed while trying to land at a small airport in Mount Airy, North Carolina.

 

A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman confirmed that no one on the ground was injured in the crash that may have been caused by low fog.

 

The plane had taken off from Dallas, Georgia.
