Search for Tinley Park Killer Intensifies after Five Left Dead

The man responsible for murdering five women in a Lane Bryant clothing store in Tinley Park, Illinois on Saturday has continued to elude police despite a concentrated effort to capture the killer.

Police have used, helicopters and dogs to search the area around the Brookside Marketplace, the plaza in which the women’s clothing store was situated, yet they have been unable to grab a lead on the suspect.

Outside the Lane Bryant store, located about 30 miles southwest of Chicago, several mourners left flowers and cards in memory of the five women who were herded to the back of the store and shot during what police believe was a botched robbery.

A bystander told police they witnessed a black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 230 and 260 pounds leaving the area. The man was said to be wearing a long black coat and a black knit hat.
