PostcardMania ties to win the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Large In-State Business of the Year Award

It was a proud night for prominent businesses at The Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 86th Annual Meeting held on January 31, 2008 at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.  A crowd of about 500 chamber members and guests attended as the Chamber recognized the contributions of the out-going Board of Directors and committee chairs, introduced the incoming Board of Directors and celebrated the achievements of many business and civic leaders whom have made a positive impact on the community.

Each year, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce honors the small, medium, and large businesses owned either in the State of Florida or by out-of-state corporations.  The judges select finalists in all four categories based on business work ethics, integrity, creativity, problem-solving abilities, financial success of the companies and contributions to the community. 

Hailed as the fastest-growing direct mail postcard marketing firm in the nation by Inc Magazine, PostcardMania was honored as the 2008 Large In-State Business of the Year.  PostcardMania tied this year with the prestigious JMC Communities, an award-winning St. Petersburg-based developer specializing in luxurious waterfront communities.

Joy Gendusa, CEO of PostcardMania, accepted the award along with Gerry Raymond, the Communications Director for JMC Communities.  Gendusa stated that the award was a reflection of her dedicated staff and she thanked the Chamber for being an integral part of fostering growth in the community.
