Innovations Medical Announces New Fat Transfer Procedure
Innovations Medical brings North Texas Activated Fat Transfer procedure with faster recovery time.
The new procedure allows patients to recover much faster due to an increase in blood flow in the area the procedure was performed. Activated fat uses Platelet Rich Plasma, a sample of plasma extremely concentrated with the patient’s platelets. “In order for cell survival to occur, the fat cells have to come up with a blood supply in their new home. Activated Fat contains a much higher than normal amount of growth factors. These growth factors allow the fat to actually call blood vessels to them. The new cells further help to offset the loss of any of the transferred cells.
