Lady Gaga, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen All Perform at Rainforest Fundraiser

In honor of a benefit show to help save the rainforest Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance, joining artists such as Sting, Elton John and Lady Gaga to raise nearly $3 million for the Rainforest Fund.

The benefit show, held at Carnegie Hall, was put together by Sting and his wife Trudy Styler, marked the 21st anniversary of the charitable foundation.

The atmoshpere was intimate and relaxed, with many artists performing covers and duets. Elton John and Lady Gaga reprised their Grammy Awards performance with a dual-piano version of the “Your Song”/“Speechless” medley.

Elton John also played a couple Madonna covers such as “Like A Virgin” and “Material Girl.”

The show was brought to a close as Gaga, Debbie Harry, Shirley Bassey, Springsteen, Elton John, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Sting and Styler all came out on stage and performed Journey’s “Don’t Stop.”

Sounds pretty cheesy to me.
