Divers Look For Madeleine McCann Body in Lake

Portuguese lawyer Marcos Aragao Correia claims “underworld criminals” told him Madeleine was raped and murdered, and her body was dumped in a lake surrounded with “lots of trees and a beach area.”

Correia claims he told authorities in Portugal about the call from the “underworld criminals” but they did not act upon the information. “I’m determined to carry on with this until I find Madeleine’s body or satisfy myself she is not here,” he said.

He adds that five days into searching the lake, divers found a 15 ft. bind cord knotted together. Correia said he has already given it to police as “it could turn out to be significant.”
