The Narconon Drug Rehab Program teaches its clients that by developing a personal sense of ethics, any condition in their life can be improved, regardless of the situation they may find themselves in.
In many cases a person arrives to drug rehab because they didn’t know how to reverse the downward spiral of drug addiction and wound up at the bottom of the life spiral. The Changing Conditions in Life Course teaches the Narconon student how to evaluate personal performance and improve it by ethical and productive means.
The drug rehab student learns how to repair previous poor conditions in different areas of life and is assisted in actually addressing these situations by making amends, repairing a relationship, etc. Familial relationships, personal friendships and professional relationships improve as the student reaches out to repair the past.
This step is vital, as even after students report the have reduced or eliminated drug cravings through the Narconon New Life Detoxification Program, the student must still deal with depression and guilt caused by drug addiction and this can lead to relapse. Life situations are just not discussed, they are repaired and the student can past the guilt into hope for the future.
One student stated: “This course was amazing. It was hard, but I liked it. Repairing my past ethics situations really helped me and the formulas I learned to repair things really worked! I learned that I have to earn things on my own. It is bringing closure to the work I’ve been doing here because I see it working. I can’t wait to continue applying it in my life.”
