Narconon Drug Rehab Applauded at Benefit Concert

Drug Addicted Homeless Children Aided

Narconon of Georgia attended a benefit concert and was applauded by the President of a Honduran orphanage that houses eighty street orphans addicted to huffing glue.

The President of the orphanage, who was visiting Atlanta at the time, thanked the representatives of Narconon of Georgia Drug Rehab for all the support they have given her orphanage. This orphanage in Honduras has been getting kids off the streets and into a safe environment through dedication of their staff and with the help of Narconon Drug Rehab Program and other Atlanta charity groups.

One Narconon of Georgia staff member commented, “I was happy to attend this event, and was very moved by the spirit of unity and commitment to these children.” Another staff member also said, “Their devotion is overwhelming and moving. I wanted to roll my sleeves up and get to work with them and help them in any way I can.”

Narconon of Georgia (www.drugsno.com) helped a Honduran medical doctor establish the Narconon New Life Detoxification Program in this orphanage to aid in the detoxification process of these drug-addicted street children. The sauna program had astounding results with the children and has been praised by the Honduran staff as being very beneficial to the children in their drug rehab efforts.

Thousands of children in Central America and across the world live on the streets and are addicted to glue used in making shoes. They huff this glue to take away hunger pains. Once they become addicted, they do whatever it takes to get money to buy glue. They are often abused and end up in gangs, are killed, or eventually imprisoned as they become too old to beg or shoplift and turn to serious crime.

Narconon of Georgia is a non-traditional drug abuse treatment program which was founded in 1967 whose mission also includes drug education and working with children.  The Narconon  program provides body detoxification through a sauna and exercise program that helps eliminate or reduce cravings.  Then the client learns those life skills essential to success in life and the ability to stay clean.
