Solvay SA (SVYSY) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings February 15

Solvay SA (OTC:SVYSY) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on February 15.

Based in Belgium, Solvay is a chemicals and pharmaceuticals company.  The company is organized into pharmaceuticals, chemicals and plastics.

The pharmaceuticals segment engages in therapeutic fields of cardiometabolic, neuroscience, flu vaccines, pancreatic enzymes, gastroenterology and hormone therapy for men and women.

The chemicals segment focuses on fluorinated products, multiple soda bicarbonate applications, ultra-pure barium and strontium carbonates, advanced f unctional minerals and ultra pure grades of hydrogen peroxide.

The plastics segment focuses on high-performance specialty polymers, such as fluorinated polymers, elastopolymers and fluids, barrier materials, polyarylamides, polysulfones, high-performance polyamides, liquid crystal polymers and fuel systems.
