Carl Stanley McGee Accused of Sexually Assaulting 15 Year Old Boy
According to a Lee County Sheriff’s report, McGee performed oral sex on the teen after masturbating in front of him. McGee and the boy were in the steam room of Gasparilla Inn and Club in Boca Grande when the incident happened.
McGee was arrested after a parent of the child called authorities. The 38-year-old, who is Patrick’s assistant secretary for policy planning, was released on $300,000 bond. McGee was placed on unpaid leave on January 7.
McGee is a gay rights activist. He married John Finley IV on November 12, 2005. The ceremony was featured in the New York Times “Vows” issue.
He is due back in court February 11.
