Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks Tour Kicks Off in May at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers will parlay their well-received Super Bowl XLII halftime show into a full-scale North American tour with their first stop scheduled for Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena on May 30.

The legendary rocker will follow his Grand Rapids show with a stop in Auburn Hills the following night at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The band will then head to Toronto before hitting Philadelphia on June 5.

Petty’s performance at the Super Bowl was comprised of condensed versions of several of his greatest hits, including “American Girl,” “Won’t Back Down,” and “Free Falling.”

Over his 30-plus years in music Petty has been nominated for 18 Grammy Awards, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
