TELUS Corporation (TU) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings February 15

TELUS Corporation (NYSE:TU) will release the fourth quarter 2007 earnings on February 15.

TELUS provides telecommunications products and services to provide data, internet protocol, voice and wireless services to Central and Eastern Canada.

The company’s primary subsidiary as of December 31, 2006, is TELUS Communications Inc.

Wireline and Wireless are the two operating segments of the company.  The focus of Wireline is voice local, voice long distance, data and non wireless telecommunication services.  Wireless takes control of digital personal communication services, equipment sales and wireless internet services.

The company acquired FSC Internet Corop in April 2006 through a wholly owned subsidiary.  FSC operated under the name Assurent Secure Technologies.  The company also acquired Fastvibe Corporation, a web streaming solutions provider for businesses, in January 2008.
