Nine Wounded in Knife Attack at China College

Nine students at the Hainan Institute of Science and Technology in China were wounded Wednesday morning in a knife attack. The China News Network reports about five to six men attacked students in a dormitory with knives and cleavers.

The reason for the attack is not clear. No other details were available.

Wednesday’s attack is the latest in a string of attacks on China schools. In April, a man attacked 29 kindergarten students and three teachers with a knife. Last week, a man killed seven kindergarten students and a teacher with a cleaver.
