Amy Winehouse and Taylor Swift lead the list of nominees for the Best New Artist at the 2008 Grammy Awards, which will be held on Sunday.

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air at 8pm on CBS.

Winehouse, who is expected as the favorite, and Swift are joined by Feist, Paramore, and Ledisi.

Winehouse is nominated for six Grammys, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

Swift's self-titled debut album is certified double platinum. To date, it has produced three Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs, including the No. 1 single "Our Song"; all three of her singles have also reached Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Feist, the Canadian singer-songwriter who dropped her first name Leslie, hit the mainstream with her album The Reminder and her single "1234", which peaked at No. 8 on the U.S. Hot 100. Time Magazine named "1234" one of The 10 Best Songs of 2007, ranking it at #2. The Reminder was the best-selling album of 2007 on the iTunes store.

Paramore, the up-and-coming band from Franklin, Tenn., consists of lead singer Hayley Williams, bass guitar Taylor Davis, and brothers lead guitarist Jeremy Farro and drummer Zac Farro. Their album Riot! rose to No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and is certified gold.

Ledisi, the R&B singer whose single "Alright" hit No. 65 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart. Her album Lost and Found is also nominated for Best R&B Album.
