MSNBC's David Shuster Apologizes for "Pimping Out" Quote

MSNBC's David Shuster apologized Friday for a controversial comment he made about Chelsea Clinton and her role in the campaign of her mother, Sen. Hillary Clinton.

In a conversation with Bill Press on MSNBC, Shuster said there was something "unseemly" about Chelsea's involvement in her mother's campaign. He continued by saying that Chelsea was being "pimped out" by her mother's presidential campaign.

"The comment was completely inappropriate, and we have called the Clinton campaign to apologize," MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines tells The Washington Post.
