Mike Huckabee Vows to Continue Presidential Campaign

Despite what appears to be an insurmountable deficit in the chase for delegates, former Arkansas governor and current Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has vowed to continue his campaign for his party’s nomination.

On Saturday Huckabee appeared unfazed by the lead established by Republican front-runner John McCain. Less than one week after Super Tuesday the Arizona senator has grabbed hold of 719 delegates while Huckabee is carrying 198.

To lock up the GOP nomination a candidate needs 1,191 heading into the National Convention. While many have already anointed McCain as the Republican candidate Huckabee stood in optimistic defiance on Saturday as he told a Conservative Political Action Conference, “I didn’t major in math, I majored in miracles.”
