Daughtry Appearing with Bon Jovi at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Daughtry, fronted by former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry, will be performing at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on Feb 28. The Verizon show will follow their three-show stop in Chicago where they will be playing at the United Center on Feb 23, 24 and 26.

Accompanying Daughtry will be by rock legends Bon Jovi as the two have hooked up for a massive run of shows that carry through till the end of April.

The band’s debut, self-titled album hit number one on the Billboard 200 and became the fastest selling debut rock album in Soundscan history. Worldwide sales have neared four million for Daughtry with hit singles including “It’s Not Over” and “Home.”

Daughtry has been nominated for four awards at the 50^th Grammy Awards set to take place Feb. 10, 2008. They are nominated for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song (“It’s Not Over”), Best Pop Performance, and Best Rock Performance.
