BlackBerry Outage Knocks Out Service throughout the United States and Canada

A massive BlackBerry outage has knocked out service to subscribers throughout the United States and Canada and there is no word when the service will be back.

One thing is clear; it’s not an AT&T problem as all wireless service providers for the smartphone were affected.

Research in Motion, Ltd. (RIM), maker if the BlackBerry, has not said what caused the problem and is yet to say when the service may be restored.

The BlackBerry is relied upon by many to access email and data services whiel they are away from their computers.
