Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Gunmen Entering Country from Gaza Strip

Israeli forces have shot and killed two Palestinian gunmen as they attempted to cross into Israel from the Gaza Strip.

According to reports the Palestinian men had been sent on a mission by Hamas in which they were to launch an attack within Israel. Upon coming on the border the two men were involved in a shootout with Israeli forces and were killed.

The Israeli Defense Forces reported that the incident occurred near Kibbutz Nirim, just across the border from the southern Gaza Strip.
