Oshkosh will deliver over 3,800 rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) protection kits, and over 500 explosively formed penetrator (EFP) add-on armor kits and in-field service and parts. Oshkosh is expected to complete the work in April 2011.
Oshkosh now has received awards for the delivery of more than 7,500 RPG protection kits and over 1,300 EFP armor kits. The kits provide enhanced protection for the M-ATV, which is produced with a factory-installed armor package and can accept additional bolt-on armor in the field.
