Rex Energy Corporation (REXX) to Hold Q4 2007 Earnings Conference Call February 25

Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:REXX) will hold a conference call on February 25 to discuss the fourth quarter earnings for 2007.

An independent oil and gas company, Rex Energy operates in the Illinois and Appalachain Basin and the southwest region of the United States.  The company reported having 14.5 million barrels of oil equivalents, a reserve live index of 14 years, in reserves on December 31, 2006.  At that point in time, the company operated 2,150 wells.

The company acquired a 50% interest in leases, during December 2007, which covered 16,000 gross acres in southwestern Pennsylvania.
