Conflicting Reports in Arrest of Possible Suspect in Tinley Park Shooting

There have been conflicting reports that a suspect has been arrested in connection to the Tinley Park, IL shooting at a Lane Bryant clothing store on Feb. 2 that claimed the lives of five women.

While the Chicago Tribune has reported an arrest in the case the Tinley Park police have denied the reports.  Earlier this morning Tinley Park mayor Ed Zabrocki had said that no suspect had been apprehended yet there were several strong leads that police were pursuing.

The arrest that the Chicago Tribune was referring to involved a man who appeared to fit the profile of the Tinley Park suspect. That suspect was arrested on Chicago’s South Side and had been wanted on a parole violation.
