Neil Young to Perform Live at Rai in Amsterdam February 20

Neil Young will be performing live at Rai in Amsterdam, Netherlands on February 20 at 8:00 pm.

A Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and film director, Neil Young is known for his deep lyrics, distinctive guitar work, his signature nasal tenor voice and his folk like acoustic rock style music, such as in “Heart of Gold,” “Harvest Moon” and “Old Man” as well as his electric hard rock heard in “Cinnamon Girl,” Rockin’ in the Free World” and “Hey Hey My My (Into the Black).”  Young has directed several films under the name Bernard Shakey.  His films included Journey Through the Past (1973), Rust Never Sleeps (1979), Human Highway. (1982) and Greendale (2003)

Young will be touring through Europe this year visiting the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

The RAI in Amsterdam is one of Europe’s foremost venues for international events.  It hosts over fifty major international congresses as well as seventy trade fairs and exhibitions, events and more than a thousand conferences and meetings yearly.  The facility spans 87,000 square meters and holds 22 congress rooms that can seat up to 1,750 as well has 11 exhibition halls that can accommodate 12,900 guests.
