Radiohead to Perform Live at Ford Amphitheatre May 5

Radiohead will be performing live at the Ford Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday May 5 at 7:30 pm.

Fronted by Thom Yorke, the English alternative rock band from Oxfordshire first came out with their first single, “Creep” in 1992 and then their debut album, Pablo Honey in ’93. Despite the group’s unsuccessful start, “Creep” became a worldwide hit a year after its release. The band continued to release seven albums in total throughout their career and sold over 23 million records.

Radiohead albums include The Bends (1995), OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000), Amnesiac (2001), Hail to the Thief (2003) and In Rainbows (2007).

Tampa Bay’s first outdoor concert facility, the Ford Amphitheatre can accommodate 20,000 guests.  The first concert held at the venue was a performance by Rush in 2004.  The event attracted 15,000 people.  Chicago and the Dave Matthews Band also played at the venue within the opening week.
