Support for Barack Obama has increased 20 percentage points in the past month and Obama now leads Hillary Clinton 47% to 45%.

Obama leads Clinton among men 50% to 41%. In January, Clinton was leading Obama 43% to 28% among men. Clinton leads Obama among women 49% to 44%. In January, Clinton was leading Obama 50% to 27% among women. Among Democrats (82% of likely national Democratic primary voters), Clinton leads Obama 48% to 45%. Among independents, Obama leads Clinton 33% to 57%.
