Home Depot (HD) to Hold Q4 2007 Earnings Conference Call February 26

Home Depot (NYSE:HD) will hold a conference call on February 26 to discuss the fourth quarter earnings for 2007.

A home improvement retailer, the Home Depot operates 2,147 stores, as of January 28, 2007.  Operating in two business segments, Retail and HD Supply, the company sells a variety of building materials, home improvement and lawn and garden products as well as provides several services.

HD Supply distributes and sells installation services to business to business customers, such as home builders, professional contractors, municipalities and maintenance professionals.

The company acquired the Home Way, a Chinese home improvement retailer, on January 28, 2007.  During the fiscal 2006, Burrus Contractors Supply, Heartland Waterworks Supply and Cox Lumber were acquired under the HD Supply segment.  That same year the company also acquired Home Decorators Collection and Jubilee Home Solutions under the company’s retail division.
