Eddie Vedder to Launch Brief Solo Tour
Eddie Vedder is set to embark on his first solo tour, albeit an abbreviated set of dates, to promote his soundtrack album for the film “Into the Wild.”
While Vedder toured extensively with his band Pearl Jam, his seven-date run of shows beginning April 2 will be his first on his own. The tour kicks off in Vancouver and will be followed with shows in California in Santa Cruz on April 5, Berkeley April 7, Santa Barbara April 10, Los Angeles April 12 and 13, and San Diego on April 15.
Vedder collected a Golden Globe for his original track “Guaranteed” which appeared in the film and while it was snubbed at the Oscars the song also collected a nomination at the Grammy Awards.
