This month, Narconon Freedom Center, a non-profit drug and alcohol rehabilitation and education center will have the great opportunity of joining in a local tradition of having breakfast with the whole city in the annual World’s Largest Breakfast Table event. The very first breakfast table was in 1956 where 32,000 people attended to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kellogg Company. These people gathered together and had a great bowl of cereal as a city.
This year, the local Narconon program will have staff and clients alike attending the event,” says Megan Werner Brennan, Public Contact Supervisor of the center. “As so many of those in the Narconon group are from all over the country and have not had the opportunity to attend this event, this is a great chance for them to partake in a little bit of local history.”
This year marks the 150th year of celebration for the Kellogg Company both Kellogg’s and Post cereal companies will be a contributing to this event.
Narconon Freedom Center staff and clients alike are looking forward to their morning out for some great cereal and a little bit of local history.
