Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT) lost 2.71% to $39.54 on 1.74 million shares. The company reported a sharp rise in quarterly earnings on Tuesday as sales of its implantable heart defibrillators benefited from rival Boston Scientific Corp's one-month recall. Earnings for the fourth quarter ended on April 30 rose to $954 million, or 86 cents a share, from $103 million, or 9 cents a share, a year earlier.

Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX) falls 3.44% to $6.03 on 4.48 million shares. The company announced CE Mark and U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of its NC Quantum Apex™ PTCA Dilatation Balloon Catheter. The Company plans to launch the product in European markets this week and in the U.S. next month.

 

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is down 1.54% to $59.64.

 

Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE:MRK) decreases 1.29% to $31.45. The stock is up over 20% in the last one year of trading sessions. The 52-week range of the stock is $30.70-$41.56.
