Van Halen
will be performing live at the RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina
on March 7 at 8:00 pm.
A hard rock band from Pasadena California,
Van Halen was formed in 1972 and released their self titled debut album in
1978. The band sold over 80 million albums worldwide by the year 2007 and has
had several number one hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Although the Recording Industry Association of America reports that the band is
the 19th best selling band of all time, with salves of over 56 million albums

constantly surrounded by controversy and mass press coverage. Michael Anthony,
the founding bassist, was recent kicked off of the band for controversial
reasons. Yet despite the band’s inner turmoil, Van Halen was inducted into the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 12, 2007.
