Cross Country Healthcare Inc provides healthcare staffing services in the United States.  Their healthcare staffing business represented 93% of the company’s revenue during the year ended December 31, 2006.  The segment is comprised of travel and per diem nurse staffing, travel allied health staffing and clinical research staffing.

The company’s core business is travel nurse staffing and represented 70% of the company’s revenue in 2006.  The division is comprised of education, training and retained search services related to physicians and healthcare executives.

The company acquired the assets of Metropolitan Research Associates and Metropolitan Research Staffing Associates on August 31, 2006 and Assent Consulting in July 2007.
