Missing California Woman Found Stabbed to Death in Minivan

Eileen Orta had been reported missing for three days and on Friday she was found by her family, stabbed to death inside her minivan.

The family had been notified by police that the minivan had been parked illegally outside a Pomona, California courthouse. When they arrived to move the vehicle Tracy Ponce, Eileen’s mother, discovered her 22-year-old daughter buried under several blankets.

Ponce told MyFOXLA.com, “I pulled one blanket and that's when I saw my daughter's leg. I saw her leg and her toes. I said 'Oh my God.'”

An autopsy revealed that Orta had died from a stab wound to the neck.
