Neil Young
will be performing live at the Apollo Hammersmith on March 6 at 6:30 pm.
A Canadian
singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and film director, Neil Young is known
for his deep lyrics, distinctive guitar work, his signature nasal tenor voice
and his folk like acoustic rock style music, such as in “Heart of Gold,”
“Harvest Moon” and “Old Man” as well as his electric hard rock heard in
“Cinnamon Girl,” Rockin’ in the Free World” and “Hey Hey My My (Into the
Black).” Young has directed several films
under the name Bernard Shakey. His films
included Journey Through the Past (1973), Rust Never Sleeps (1979),
