Teen Summer Camps Popular this Summer in the Northeast
Among teen summer camps in the Northeast, SuperCamp's Brown University academic camps for high school students are attracting teens from throughout New England, the mid-Atlantic, Canada and Europe.
Bobbi DePorter, President of SuperCamp and Quantum Learning Network, believes the popularity is a combination of location and the program's content.
"We love having one of our programs at an Ivy League school," says Ms. DePorter. "Combining Brown as a venue with our unbeatable learning and life skills curriculum, it's easy to see why so many parents are enrolling their kids in SuperCamp at Brown."
This is SuperCamp's first year at Brown. These Providence summer enrichment camps are SuperCamp's only programs in the northeast. The next closest location is SuperCamp's North Carolina summer enrichment camps at Wake Forest University.
In addition, SuperCamp offers seven other locations for students in high school and middle school, including Lake Forest Academy in Chicago, Colorado College in Colorado Springs, the University of Washington in Seattle, and Cal State San Marcos in San Diego.
This is SuperCamp's twenty-ninth year. The program has graduated over 55,000 students and has shown remarkable results. Independent studies with other 6,000 graduates report 73 percent raised grades, 84 percent improved their self-esteem and 81 percent gained confidence following SuperCamp.
All of the program's camps for summer 2010 are nearing capacity, so parents are urged to visit SuperCamp.com or call 800-285-3276 immediately to learn more.
