HSBC Holdings plc (HBC) to Release Prelim 2007 Earnings March 3

HSBC Holdings plc (NYSE:HBC) will release the preliminary 2007 earnings March 3.

A banking and financial services organization, HSBC Holdings has a network of over 10,000 properties in 82 countries and territories in Europe, Hong, Kong, the Middle East, Africa, North America and Latin America.

With its subsidiaries, the company offers a variety of financial services to over 125 customers.  The company operates through four groups, personal financial services, commercial banking, corporate, investment banking and markets and private banking.

The company acquired 99.98% of Grupo Banistmo SA on November 23, 2006, and acquired Solstice Capital Group Inc on October 4, 2006.  Part of the company’s United Kingdom credit card book, including marbles, the online credit card business, was sold in October 2007.
