Barack Obama Takes Wisconsin and Hawaii, Clinton Facing Must Wins

Barack Obama extended his winning streak to ten on Tuesday night as the Illinois senator captured victories in the Wisconsin primary and Hawaii caucuses. By the end of the night Obama inched closer to the 2,025 delegates needed to earn the Democratic nomination and he now holds a 1,316 to 1,241 lead over Hillary Clinton.

Tuesday’s results placed Clinton in a must win situation come March 4 when Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont hold their primaries.

The New York senator has seen he most favored status slip into an uphill battle as she has been overwhelmed by the Obama surge. Many strategists have stated that Clinton faces must win situations in Texas and Ohio to have a realistic shot at surpassing Obama.
