Madeleine McCann Sighting in Montpellier, France Made Priority for Investigators

The missing person case involving Madeleine McCann may have taken a dramatic turn over the past few days now that a video recorded by an 18-year-old woman from Holland may contain footage of the 4-year-old who disappeared from a vacation apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz in Portugal last May.

The Holland woman was passing through Montpellier, France last Friday and stopped at a restaurant with a friend when they noticed a young girl that appeared to be Madeleine McCann. The two told investigators that they noticed a defect in the girl’s eye and when they called out “Madeleine” the girl looked up.

Just after they called Madeleine’s name a man grabbed the girl and headed out of the restaurant.

It is believed that Kate and Gerry McCann will view the video to determine if the girl was in fact their daughter.
