Trans World Entertainment Corporation (TWMC) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings March 3

Trans World Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ:TWMC) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on March 3.

A specialty retailer of entertainment software, Trans World Entertainment Corporation operates a chain of retail entertainment stores and e-commerce sites, such as fye.com, wherehouse.com, secondspin.com, samgoody.com and suncoast.com.  On February 3, 2007 the company reported operating 992 stores in the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands.

Principal operations are managed under the subsidiary, Record Town Inc.

Trans World Entertainment acquired the net assets of Musicland Holding Corp, a specialty retailer in the entertainment industry that operated under the Sam Goody, Suncoast Motion Picture Company, On Cue and MediaPlay.com names, on March 27, 2006.  The company also acquired 80% interest in Mix and Burn LLC in March 2006.
