Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST) to Hold Q2 2008 Earnings Conference Call March 5
Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ:COST) will hold a conference call on March 5 at 11:00 am to discuss the earnings for the second quarter of 2008.
Costco Wholesale offers customers low prices on a limited selection of nationally branded and select private label products through their membership warehouses. The merchandise varies and produces high sales volumes and rapid inventory turnover.
The company buys its merchandise directly from manufacturers and sends it directly to a warehouse or to a cross-docking consolidation or point within 24 hours of the purchase.
On average, Costco Warehouses are 140,000 square feet in size, although newer warehouses are getting bigger. Each location runs on a seven day, 69 hour week and carries 4,000 active stockkeeping units.
