Officer Killed in Hillary Clinton Motorcade Identified as 20-Year Veteran Senior Cpl. Victor Lozada-Tirado

The identity of the police officer killed on Friday morning while escorting a Hillary Clinton motorcade in Dallas, TX has been announced. Originally reported to be a female officer, the Dallas Police department has now confirmed that the victim was actually a man who had served 20-years with the force.

Senior Cpl. Victor Lozado-Tirado was killed when the motorcycle he was riding struck a curb and he was thrown 30 to 40 feet. The father of four was rushed to Methodist Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after learning of the officer’s death Hillary Clinton told reporters, “We are just heartsick over this loss of life in the line of duty, and I have asked that my condolences be conveyed to the family. I’m going to call them as soon as it’s appropriate and I have the information to do so. I placed a call to the police expressing my sympathy.”
