Lisa Lynette Clark was released from prison today after serving two years for helping her 15-year-old husband escape Georgia authorities in February 2006.
Clark was 36 when she married a 15-year-old boy In November 2005 after discovering she was pregnant with his child. The pair were married by a retired probate judge in his driveway.
Clark was arrested the next day. She was charged with sexually molesting a minor and pleaded guilty. Clark was sentenced to 9 months in prison in 2006. She gave birth to her and her child husband’s baby in prison but agreed to leave the baby with foster parents.
She pleaded guilty to helping her husband flee authorities in 2006 when he was on probation for burglary. Clark was sentenced to 2 years in prison. She served her jail time at the Metro State Prison in Atlanta.
