CRH plc (CRH) to Release Preliminary 2007 Earnings March 4

CRH plc (ISE:CRH) will release the preliminary 2007 earnings on March 4.

CRH is involved in the manufacture of primary materials and value added building products, as well as the distribution of building materials.

The company operates through three segments, materials businesses, products businesses and distribution businesses.  Materials product cement, aggregates, asphalt and readymixed concrete.  Products produce concrete products and a variety of construction related products and services.  Distribution markets and sells builders’ supplies to the construction industry as well as materials and products for do it yourselfers.

The company is organized into four divisions, two in Europe and Two in the Americas, as well as Products & Distribution in the United States.

CRH acquired Eugene Sand & Gravel, Cessford Construction, McMinn’s Asphalt and Prospect Aggregates and Cementbouw BV in August 2007 and Conrad Yelvington Distributors Inc in September 2007.
