Legendary rock frontman Robert Plant will be teaming up with Alison Krauss for a tour beginning April 20 in Louisville, Kentucky and as part of their tour they will hit the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 25 at the Fairgrounds Racetrack.

Following their Louisville show Plant and Krauss will travel to Tennessee for a show in Knoxville on April 22 and then Chattanooga the next night before heading to New Orleans. The two will then travel to Birmingham, Alabama on April 26 and then they will travel to Birmingham, England in the beginning of May.

After a series of shows in Europe the two will have another run of shows in the States, beginning with a stop in Roanoke, Virginia June 2.

Plant and Krauss recently announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding a potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour following the incredibly successful show they put on in December at the O2 Arena in London but the likelihood of that happening remains slim.
