CyberKnife Centers of Miami, Palm Beach and Tampa Invited to Join M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Study
Morse CyberKnife Centers team with M.D. Anderson in a cancer study
The CyberKnife Centers of Miami, Palm Beach and Tampa have been invited to join M.D. Anderson in a cancer study of early stage operable lung cancer patients treatment to surgery vs. CyberKnife stereotactical radiosurgery.
The study is being is being led by Jack Roth, MD, from the MD Anderson Cancer Center, who is the principle investigator and co-PI’s Ritsuko Komaki, MD, and Joe Chang, MD, PhD, from the MD Anderson Cancer Center and John Kresl, MD, PhD, from St. Joseph’s/BNI.
CyberKnife Executive Director, Dr. James G. Schwade, FACRO, FACR, FASTRO, says

The CyberKnife is a precisely targeted image guided stereotactical robotic radiosurgery tool utilized in cancer treatment. CyberKnife manufacturer Accuray and M.D. Anderson are sponsoring the cancer study with oversight being managed by M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
