A GB Airways co-pilot died mid-flight on Sunday, forcing the pilot to divert from their patch and make an emergency landing in Turkey.
Michael Warren was pronounced dead once the Airbus A320 landed in Istanbul. According to the airline the cause of death was announced as natural causes. Warren was married and had two children.
The flight had been traveling from Manchester and was scheduled to land in Paphos, located in Cyprus. All 156 passengers on the flight were safe and were never in danger.
